This event is organised to provide information and education on opportunities for investment, and improvement in the quality of Health Care in Nigeria and in other countries in West Africa. This is part of our Social Enterprise contribution to human development in providing new perspectives to healthcare that can deliver value to stakeholders. The theme of the event is:
"Managing healthcare resources for national economic growth and development – the role of organised private sector and Information Technology"
In line with our overall objectives, this event will:
- Provide new initiatives, fresh perspectives and framework for growth of healthcare industry and qualitative service delivery in Nigeria.
- Provide useful and vital information to inform investment, industry, policy direction & regulation, education & training, technology and general future trends in healthcare in Nigeria, West Africa and globally.
- Set the foundation for future events to progress Health Care in Nigeria and West Africa.
- Provide platform for local, national, regional and international collaboration in the efficient and effective use of healthcare resources in a way that complements, integrates, reinforces and consolidates best practice and services that benefit all stakeholders e.g. users of Health Care services, healthcare policy makers, political and social enterprise leaders, investors, innovators, etc.
- Provide information on how to create enabling environment (macro and micro) to encourage capital inflow (human, material and financial) with emphasis on Diaspora Capital to help or assist transform healthcare industry in Nigeria and West Africa (convert brain drain to brain gain).
- Expose positive sustainable relationship between healthcare and national economic growth and development.
